Dr. Heather Manning
Dr. Manning is orignally from the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. She has always called New Hampshire home other than while at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys many different outdoor activities that NH has to offer, such as hiking, downhill skiing, boating and swimming. Dr. Manning also loves to explore other parts of the world and curling up with a good book. She has quite the collection of house plants that she enjoys tending.
Dr. Manning has a special love of all things feline, but of course, spends time with pets of the canine variety as well! She especially enjoys fostering long healthy lives through early detection and treatment of geriatric diseases. Keeping older pets comfortable by managing arthritis pain is key focus for her.
Dr. Manning is trained in surgical dental extractions as well as many soft tissue surgery procedures. She would like to broaden her experience in non-invasive diagnostic techniques such as abdominal ultrasound.
Dr. Manning and her partner Wesley, currently have 3 kitties at home: Caliope (Callie) and Pooka - Siamese-mix sisters who are 13 years old, and Bailey - a big orange boy who is a rambunctious 7 years old. They do not currently have any dogs, so she has to get her fill of canine love at work!
