Dr. Mary Ellen Blake, VMD 

Dr. Blake graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Bates College in 2000 and earned a Veterinary Medical Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005.  She spent the following three years working full-time providing high-level medical and surgical care at a comprehensive animal hospital in Amherst, New Hampshire.  Dr. Blake joined Ponemah Veterinary Hospital as an associate veterinarian in 2009.

Dr. Blake is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the New Hampshire Veterinary Medical Association.

A native of southern New Hampshire, Dr. Blake is thrilled to practice here.  When not working, she takes full advantage of the New Hampshire outdoors.  Along with her husband Tim and daughter Vera, she enjoys hiking kayaking, and gardening. The Blakes share their home with their ten year old lab mix, Lola.
