Dr. Jennifer Edwards, DVM, Practice Owner
(formerly Dr. Jennifer Gordon)

Dr. Edwards graduated with her B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Tech in 1992 and
later earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland
Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998.  She spent 2 years working in a
small animal practice in Northern Virginia before moving to New Hampshire in 2000.
Her first two years after moving were spent doing relief work which gave Dr. Edwards
the unique opportunity to work in many veterinary hospitals throughout southern
New Hampshire.  The next five years were spent as an associate in a high quality
practice where Dr. Edwards gained valuable medical and surgical experience.

Dr. Edwards enjoys many aspects of small animal practice including dermatology, pain management, surgery,
dentistry, and
client relations.  She is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the
American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management
(IVAPM), the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), and is an avid user of the Veterinary
Information Network (VIN) which is the largest online veterinary professional forum.

Of great importance to Dr. Edwards is client service and client education.   She firmly believes that the way to
a healthy pet is through a well educated and satisfied pet owner.  Dr. Edwards is always happy to discuss your
pet's healthcare needs at length and has an abundance of educational materials specially designed and written
for the pet owner.  Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you might have.

Outside of the practice, Dr. Edwards is very active.  She enjoys competitive couples dancing, hiking, skiing,
and spending time with her husband Jay, daughter Jadyn, and stepsons Zachary and Austin.  The Edwards are
proud to share their home with four wonderful pets... a Black Lab named Milly, two Golden Retriever mixes
named Dagan and Annie, and Gizmo, their very beautiful and loving cat.
