Laboratory:  Our in house blood analyzer allows us to test serum chemistry, electrolytes, thyroid levels, and bile acids very quickly.  Because only a small sample size is needed, we are also able to run these tests on exotics.  We can run a complete urinalysis in house as well as test for heartworm, lyme, feline leukemia/ feline aids, and parvo.  No DescriptionCytology services are also available in house for ears, vaginal cytology, and some lumps.  In some instances, we will recommend a slide be sent to a pathologist for review.  Because parasite control is so important we have chosen to send out most of our fecal samples.  This allows for them to be examined using a technique called centrifugation.  This technique allows for many more parasites to be found than with traditional in house flotation methods.  We can also ask for a special test for Giardia to be run if needed.  If an immediate result is needed, we can still run a fecal test in house.  There are a large number of other diagnostic tests that we can submit through the commercial laboratory depending upon you pets' diagnostic needs.

Radiology Services:  Our on-site digital radiography equipment allows for rapid, high quality radiographs available for immediate viewing to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.  We also utilize teleradiography in which your pets' radiographs can be transmitted to a board certified radiologist for interpretation.  Ask us for a copy of your pets' radiographs on CD for your records.  We would be happy to provide one.

Ultrasonography:  We are able to offer in house ultrasonography performed by a mobile ultrasonographer.  Our ultrasonographer is a board certified cardiologist with extensive experience and is known by many to be amongst the best.  If ultrasonography is needed on an emergency basis, a referral can be arranged.
   
Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site and can arrange for a remote ECG consultation with a cardiologist if needed.

Telemedicine:  With our paperless medical records and digital imaging, we are able to easily obtain consultations from a wide array of specialists including radiologists, cardiologists, surgeons, and internists.  Consultation reports provide us with diagnostic information as well as recommendations for further testing and treatment.
